Dylan Neubauer

Dylan first moved to Santa Cruz in 1989 where she first got instantly hooked into the Santa Cruz Naturalist community after meeting Brett Hall while volunteering at the UC Santa Cruz Arboretum. Shortly after she met other prominent naturalists such as Grey Hayes and the Norris Family, where she then got hooked into the Field Quarter super-course. Dylan is a very passionate person. One of her challenges was that she did not have a degree. She is a self-taught botanist. She found herself a mentor in Randy Morgan who impressed on her that there was a specialness of everything around them.
